![]() I wouldn't consider it a reason for upgrading. The colour LCD on the hand-held transmitter displays a LiveView image independent of the DSLR. I'm not big on flash or strobes like you are, though (hence why I care about high-ISO), so unless you're cropping a lot, and since you're not interested in video (my personal biggest motivator for upgrading), it may not be a big enough upgrade for you and what you shoot.Ībout the screen: the higher-res screen is nice, and it's sharp enough to MF during shooting video without zooming in, but for macro and studio stuff you'll still be zooming in to check focus, so it doesn't really have much of an advantage over the 40D's lower-res screen. Electronics Camera & Photo Accessories Telescope & Microscope Accessories. I mainly shoot candids, portraits and macros, plus the usual family outings and such, no sports shooting and I use flashguns and strobes pretty often.ĭoes it make any sense to upgrade my trusty 40D to a 60D?ĭon't care much about the machine gun shooting, also don't care much about plastic vs. Hahnel Inspire Wireless Remote with Liveview Display for Canon.
